STRAAK is the student organization at the Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering Faculty at Hochschule Bremen.
The Tretbootteam Straak zu Bremen is a participant of the IWR since the very beginning.
Until now, we organised the IWR three times, namely 1985, 1995 and 2005. Today the Team consists of 6 constructors and of course many fans.

Aluminia is our newest boat and built after a long time without new constructions. She is named for her large aluminum spaceframe.The first IWR was Zagreb.

The fastest human driven hair cutting machine in the west of Ural and the first and only airpropelled waterbike in Europe. Her whistling sound can be heard all over the place. Dragonfly won the innovation price in 1996 and 1997. Refit in 2008.
